Advanced Diploma in Animation and FilmMaking Technology
A fine combination of 2D & 3D disciplines for tomorrow’s professionals. The first semester includes Art Foundation, Basic Course and progresses to advanced character animation techniques and subjects such as Spl. FX in 2D, script writing, character design, design and layout, film language, storyboarding, posing, advanced character animation, background design, Ink&Paint, digital compositing, animation sound and Post-Production. The second semester begins with 3D basics and progress through various stages of digital animation production process wherein the students will undergo intensive production oriented training in the basics of photoshop and 3DS Max, intensive Maya Unlimited and compositing software like Adobe After effects and Combustion before getting ready for creation of their portfolio project. Portfolio films are must for both semesters.
